Regrettably, good health requires not only prayer but work. The health and wellness efforts of the 100 Black Men target conditions that disproportionately affect African American males.

Unfortunately, the list is long: hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, glaucoma, prostate cancer, HIV/AIDS and various lesser known diseases and conditions. The Health and Wellness Page on this website together with participation in health fairs and other educational efforts will serve as vehicles for dissemination of positive messages to enhance the prevention, early detection and treatment of disease.
